Established in 2007, Sóng Xanh is the premier co-ed young adult vocal group focusing on traditional Vietnamese choral music. As part of the 2nd (or 1.5) generation of Vietnamese-Americans living in Orange County, California, we have used our love of song to explore and reconnect with our Vietnamese culture and heritage. Through our music, we hope to connect with others to bridge the Vietnamese- and English-speaking communities by exciting interest in the beauty and artistry of Vietnamese music.

Sóng Xanh's mission is to preserve traditional Vietnamese music through ensemble singing and to encourage the creation of new music, which will inspire and reflect the spirit of a new Vietnamese American generation.
